In 2022, JRB FA wasn't a club. It was a group of kids from the neighborhood in Roumieh, meeting up on a concrete court because it was the best excuse to keep playing the game they loved. There was no logo, no training plan, no age groups — just a ball, a fence, and a lot of laughing between goals.
Somewhere along the way, more kids started showing up. Then their friends. Then their friends' friends. What began as a weekend habit quietly turned into something that couldn't be run the same way anymore — a real team, with real numbers, and real potential.
2024 was the turning point. We moved off the concrete and onto proper pitches. We brought in structured coaching sessions instead of casual kickabouts. We built a full pathway from U8 all the way to U18, with age-appropriate programs and a dedicated goalkeeping track. And — because we believe families deserve more than a vague "he's doing well" at pickup — we started sending every player a personalized evaluation report every three months, covering their technical skills, game understanding, physical development, and character.
Today, JRB FA is a full academy — but it's still run by the same people, with the same values that got us started on that concrete court. We have players who are chasing something big: a spot on a stronger team, a scholarship abroad, a real shot at a future in this sport. We take that seriously, and we build our elite pathway around giving them every chance to get there.
We also have players who are here simply because football is the best two hours of their week — and that matters just as much. Not every child needs to turn pro to belong at JRB FA. Some of our players are chasing a dream. Others are building a lifelong love for the game. We built this academy to hold space for both.
